Mapping Women’s Health Providers
This bespoke data tool is designed to support you in mapping women’s health providers and services.
If you are a commissioner or provider who is developing a business case for service redesign or bidding for funding, this tool is available to support you. Create your own map through identifying and adding services in your local area. The map will then give you a picture of local services and gaps in provision which you can use as evidence to support the planning of women’s health hub services to meet your local patient needs.

Using the tool
This tool has been created to plot services within your locality to enable you to better understand service availability and gaps in provision. Get started by selecting a title for your report and inputting your geographical area by postcode or address in the ‘Add a location’ bar.
Select the service type
Input the location type you want to map, and select the provisions offered at that location.
Add additional areas, service types and resources to build your personalised map.
Click ‘Generate Report’ to see your results and view a holistic picture of local services and gaps in provision.
Reading your results
Each service type is denoted by a coloured marker.
Available services are shown as the number within the marker.
The key on the left-hand side shows service type and provisions offered at a glance.
Below is a breakdown of your results, this can also be downloaded.
Enter report title:
Enter the postcode or address of the location you would like to plot on the map. This isn't a search tool so please have this data ready to input. If you need to plot more than one service per location, please re-enter the same address into the 'Add a location' bar.
